To change the speed, try changing the duration wherever you see .appear(). The duration is shown in seconds. I think I have it set to 5 seconds in this script.

This is a scriptaculous effect. Here's more info about it: http://wiki.github.com/madrobby/scriptaculous/effect-appear

Thanks -- this works nicely.

Also you may want to know -- this slideshow does not work with Prototype 1.4 and Scriptaculous 1.5... not sure when the versioning catches up with this script, but it does work with Prototype 1.6.2 and Scriptaculous 1.8.1.

Hi!
I am going to wordcamp on Saturday, and during Wordcamp, I am going to be leading online wordgames on different people’s blogs.
They will be silly, fun, low tech games using wordpress blogs.
Would you like to host a game on your blog?
Each game takes 15 minutes, and you would need to be able to post the game, and keep track of comments that 15 minutes while you are at wordcamp.
Go to http://www.bodyabcs.com/bwp/word-games/ to read more about it.

Much Love,
dk
